NEXSD® Elevator Services
The new product from Schmitt + Sohn Aufzüge is the only one of its kind on the market: Manufacturer-independent, compatible with over 100 different controllers, and available for retrofitting at any time – the result of long-term research and development, and over 160 years of experience in elevator construction.
NEXSD® is more than a little box in your elevator: With NEXSD®, operators can monitor and analyse their elevators from anywhere – in real time. At the same time, the system collects all relevant data, uses it for predictive analyses, and guarantees the highest availability thanks to intelligent algorithms.

NEXSD® stands for “NEXT Service Dimension”, and includes the following services:
- NEXSD AWM® is the fourth generation of the elevator attendant, and continuously and comprehensively inspects the elevator system so that problems can be identified promptly.
- The NEXSD CUSTOMER COCKPIT® provides the operator access to all key operating data for the elevator in real time. The dashboard ensures that the operator can check the status of the elevator systems at any time, and from anywhere. This avoids expensive unnecessary travel, allowing repairs to be commissioned and approved easily and conveniently.
- NEXSD CARE® collects relevant data to identify wear, for example, early on and correct it before a fault occurs.
- NEXSD INSPECT® analyses data, especially from systems subject to faults. An expert team analyses this data and prepares a report with specific recommendations for action. This provides better information on necessary measures, and allows system availability to be restored.
NEXSD® is now available for new systems in Germany. Austria, Portugal, and the Czech Republic.
