Lifts and accessibility
Public buildings and buildings that can be used by persons with disabilities, must be accessible without barriers.
Lift cages and door sizes must be suitable for wheelchair users. If persons with other disabilities, such as persons with visual impairments, use the building, corresponding measures, such as e.g. tactile marking or additional Braille marking are required.
The corresponding measures are described in the standards DIN 18024/25 and / or EN 81-70.
