Conveyor capacity

The planning of size and number of lifts pertaining to a certain project is based on several criteria:

• The period of revolution specifies the time it takes for the elevator to return to its starting point (e.g. ground-floor to 5th floor to ground-floor).
• The average waiting period is an indicator for the time it takes the elevator to arrive at a stop and pick up a waiting passenger.
• The 5-minute-performance (HC5) shows the number of people that can be transported by the lift(s) within 5 minutes.

 Lift systems that are meant for small and mid-sized buildings can be planned by means of the FEM diagram.
