Evacuation control in case of fire

In case of fire lifts with evacuation control in case of fire automatically travel to a pre-set stop and halt with their doors opened if a fire should break out.

Alternatively control units - that are tied in with smoke detectors on every level - screen and select the next "smoke-free" level to travel to and go there.

Fire protection requirements stipulate that this installation is mandatory for large buildings.
